When you choose to speak tell the truth. No one knows what you think until you tell them. Say who you are and let it stand, if you do this you will be a force in the world.

There is an interesting moment to find when watching customers in a restaurant. Suppose they are having dinner with friends they dont know very well and feel it is a lot of pressure. They have agreed to sit down in public with people for a said amount of time and consume food. In my experience, most people are weird about food, they need it a certain way and in a certain order or plated a particular way. What inevitably happens is they grow conscious of themselves and get a little tight until we get some food in their bellies and then they tend to calm down. But during the tight-premeal-window, something happens with their faces. They will be having a normal conversation, someone at the table with say something mildly funny and at least one or two people will erupt in excessive laughter. They have been catapulted into the present and then surprised themselves by what has come out of their body so there is no natural transition between the laughter and the neutral look they’d like to have. Instead they move far too quickly from laughing, tight smile and then BAM neutral tight face.
